As an Independent Non-Executive Director and Senior Vice President, GAC, Captain Omame brings unparalleled industry knowledge, strategic insight, and governance expertise developed through a career that has traversed aviation training, commercial airline operations, international aviation services, airline executive management, and aviation consultancy.
Captain Omame's aviation journey began at the Nigerian Civil Aviation Training Centre, Zaria—now the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT)—where he graduated in 1976. Mr. David Adebayo Alabi is a distinguished financial services professional, corporate strategist, and governance leader with over three decades of experience spanning stockbroking, capital markets, financial services, trade finance, business administration, and corporate governance.
A graduate of Microbiology from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and a Certified Stockbroker, Mr. Alabi is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (ACIS). His broad-based experience has enabled him to successfully navigate evolving market dynamics while delivering value-driven solutions to institutional and individual clients alike.
Mr. Alabi's distinguished career in the financial services industry includes a long and impactful tenure with Reward Investment and Services Limited, where he rose to the position of Assistant General Manager and Head of the Capital Market Department. He successfully coordinated complex transactions for corporate organizations, institutional investors, and high-net-worth individuals.
His boardroom experience spans several sectors, including publishing, healthcare, and financial services. Notably, he served as a Director of Nigeria Baptist Book Store Limited for a decade. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Balm Medical Centre, where he provides strategic oversight and governance direction.

Engr. Sunday Felix Afolabi is a distinguished industrial executive, corporate governance leader, board chairman, and agribusiness entrepreneur with over thirty-five years of exceptional leadership experience spanning manufacturing, industrial gases, engineering management, multinational operations, corporate governance, agribusiness, and organisational transformation across Africa.
He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Air Liquide Nigeria Plc, having been a member of the Board since 2008. His remarkable professional journey began in 1983 when he joined Air Liquide as a Trainee Engineer during his National Youth Service Corps programme. Through exceptional performance, he steadily advanced through increasingly senior roles, including Maintenance Engineer, Factory Manager, Area Manager, Regional Technical Manager for Nigeria and Ghana, and Regional Technical Director for West and Central Africa.
His international executive leadership credentials were strengthened through his appointments as Managing Director of Air Liquide Botswana (2000–2004) and subsequently Managing Director of Air Liquide Côte d'Ivoire (2004–2009). His contributions significantly reinforced Air Liquide's footprint and competitiveness across the continent.
Beyond his corporate achievements, Engr. Afolabi is the Founder, Managing Director, and CEO of Afolabi Agro Divine Venture Limited. Academically, he holds a degree in Chemistry from the Université de Technologie–Chimie, Université de Paris XI, France, and a Master's Degree in Industrial Chemistry from the prestigious École Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Lille, France. Fluent in English, French, and German, he brings a global perspective to leadership and business management.
He is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Directors and a highly respected clergyman and serving Pastor in The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), exemplifying values-based leadership, integrity, and service.
